Student Services Request Information
Our Student Services personnel are dedicated to seeing you succeed with us. Here are a few of the services that we can provide you to succeed in a makeup artist career.

The Library

Located just behind the lobby, the EI library houses over 1000 volumes of books, hundreds of magazines, and photo collections of specialty makeup. All of this in an effort to provide students with the opportunity to conduct research. This research is necessary for projects required for class, and students are welcomed to the library during supervised class time, and in hours posted on the library door.

International Students

EI is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students. International Students must first obtain a student visa from their local U.S. Embassy or Consulate. In order to obtain a student visa, students must first register at EI and provide the school with:
  • A completed I-20 Application,
  • A $75.00 non-refundable Registration Fee, and
  • Proof of financial support
When EI receives these documents, a student will be issued a completed I-20 with an Acceptance Letter. Students must then take the I-20 and SEVIS I-901 fee receipt to their local embassy or consulate with supporting financial documents.

Before a U.S. Consul or Embassy will grant a student visa, students must prove that they will have sufficient funds to meet all expenses while studying the U.S. Unless students have written evidence of having financial support for the entire time needed to complete the educational program, students will not be granted a student visa.

As of September 1, 2004 U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and SEVIS have changed the policy for M-1 Visas, requiring a fee of $100.00 (SEVIS Form I-901 fee).
Students can pay this fee at https://www.fmjfee.com/index.jhtml
Payment must be made before attending the interview with the U.S. Consulate.
