IMATS in LA on Jan. 17, 2014

EI – School of Professional Makeup, will be in attendance at the IMATS on January 17, 2014. Professional make-up artists and enthusiasts of all kinds attend the IMATS show in Los Angeles. This amazing event provides you with the opportunity to reach both the biggest names in the industry and the mass market all in one location. IMATS goes to great lengths to invite department heads from major productions, and prominent internet beauty & makeup bloggers. During the event, EI will be conducting live student and graduate lead makeup demonstrations. These examples of EI talent will highlight all areas of makeup, including: High Fashion, Beauty, Special Effects and Makeup for Television/Film. Be sure to stop by booth 607 to see for yourself why EI is the best in the business.

Keynote Speakers

Kevin James Bennett created IN MY KIT® (inmykit.com), a cosmetic buying guide for professional make-up artists, and Makeup Art + Design Enterprises Inc, a cosmetic consulting company focusing on product design and development,brand strategy, copywriting, sales promotion and more. Bennett has worked on retail, print, runway and celebrity projects. His television work has earned him five Emmy nominations and two wins. His credits include the Law & Order franchise, Another World and As the World Turns. He has appeared as a beauty expert on programs including Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, Good Morning America and Today, and his beauty advice has appeared in Elle, InStyle and Town & Country. Bill Corso has collaborated with industry legends including Rick Baker, Ve Neill and Steve Johnson, transforming actors in films including The Grinch, Planet of the Apes and Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events (for which Corso won an Achievement in Makeup Oscar). Corso and Johnson earned two Emmys for their work in TV miniseries based on Stephen King’s The Stand and The Shining. Sun. Jan. 19 — 2 PM
